World War 1 – Served in Europe in the 4th Flying Squadron as a Flying Mechanic. His trade was a mechanic in civilian life.

 

Scored 683 runs and took 83 wickets in 1908/1909 Season for Souths.

Thomas Faunce and WB ‘Billy’ Hayes still hold the First Wicket Partnership Record for the club at 290 runs v Valleys in 1905/06
