You must ensure the accuracy of the score or you face losing valuable championship points or even a game due to sloppy scorebooks.

Firstly, ensure that each member of the team is able to score or is supervised while scoring. If they score incorrectly, it is your fault, not theirs.

Ensure that you have a pencil case with pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners and keep your calculator handy for the end of the game.

At the end of each game, you must add up the books and ensure that each component is correct, and most importantly, matches the opposing team scorebook. if they do not match or there is a dispute, you must discuss it with the opposing captain and try to solve the issue before you leave the ground. If in doubt, speak with the umpires AT THE GROUND.

If, and only if you are unable to solve the issue, then you should contact the Secretary for further advice on the dispute. Most disputes can be settled at the field.
